Here are some pictures of a 1947 Packard that Gene Westcott was told about. He forwarded the information to me to include for our perusal. He has included a picture of the VIN plate under the hood and also of the odometer. The asking price is $4995 but he has dropped it to $3995 and admits it hasn't run in at least 40 years when his father bought it and put it in the barn. Hi Packard Friends,
I will be reluctantly selling my
51-53 series cars and want to initially post them through the club.
This group of 4 consists of (1) 53 mayfair convertible,500 miles on
rebuilt 327 engine and ultramatic transmission, restored dash, 90%
chrome replated, brakes rebuilt but needs body work. (2) 53 clipper 4
door, 288 ultramatic transmission, 43.000 origional miles in very
good condition (3) 51 clipper 2 door, 288 standard transmission with
overdrive (parts car) (4) 51 clipper 2 door, 288 standard transmission.
Sold as a group for $13,500.
Also, I know of a 42 clipper
120, 4 door sedan, no overdrive or radio, for sale. I looked at
this car and it is rough but everything is there. The owner would take
$100.00.

I have a 1953 Packard Sales Brochure to list for Sale. It is in excellent condition. It shows all models of the '53 model year, in brilliant, crisp color. It has the outer envelope, which has a small degree of wear. The brochure doesn't show any wear. I am asking $80.00. Buyer would have to pay postage/shipping.
